Liberton High School serves the area of South East Edinburgh an is one of the largest schools in Edinburgh with a roll of 850 pupils and 95 staff. Our school roll is predicted to reach 1200 pupils in the coming years. To accommodate this we will move into a new purpose-built school campus, scheduled for completion in Autumn 2025, that is being designed to deliver the best Learning environment for our community. We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Teacher of English to join an established and motivated faculty team. We are looking for a candidate who can add their experience and knowledge to existing teaching and introduce new ideas and strategies appropriate to our learners.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
