Salary: £28,113 to £42,336 per year (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 35 hours per week
St Augustine’s is a Catholic secondary school of approximately 970 students situated in the west of the City of Edinburgh. Its catchment area encompasses five Catholic primary schools extending from South Queensferry in the north to Balerno in the south. However, as a result of parental choice, our current S1 contains students drawn from 31 primaries
St Augustine’s stresses the importance of high levels of achievement for every student and there is a strong sense of community within the school. All staff of St Augustine’s, teaching and non-teaching, are prepared to make a positive contribution to the school as a whole and to play their part as members of the St Augustine’s community.
The post is part time in busy Mathematics & Numeracy department. Emphasis is on getting the best possible outcome for each of our students, so resilience and creativity are welcome qualities for applicants. A range of abilities from Nat3 to Advanced Higher.
Catholic Schools: It is not necessary to be of the Catholic faith to apply for this role. Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
