Liberton High School serves the area of South East Edinburgh. We are one of the largest schools in Edinburgh with a roll of 850 pupils and 95 staff with a rising roll that is predicted to reach 1200 pupils in the coming years. To accommodate this, we will move into a new purpose-built school campus, in Autumn 2025, designed to deliver the best Learning environment for our community.
We are looking for an inspirational and passionate teacher of RMPS to join our highly experienced team within our Social Subjects Faculty.
The RMPS department currently offers core RMPS to all year groups S1-S6, Psychology at Higher/N5 qualification levels.
The successful candidate would have to demonstrate experience of teaching and assessing certificate level classes and would have to offer flexibility and willingness in teaching BGE classes across the faculty.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
