To deliver strategic universal and/or targeted initiatives related to the above services through partnership working and ensuring these are embedded in mainstream practice in schools, settings and communities.
To help increase operational capacity through effective collaboration with internal and external colleagues and partners.

We are recruiting for posts for our Youth Work pool and also the following:

  • Friday Night Lights at Portobello 6:30 - 8:30 PM- S1+
  • Monday - Northfield youth group 6:00 - 8:30 PM P6-S1
  • Tuesday - Wash House youth club 4:30- 6:45 PM P6-S1
  • Tuesdays - Boroughmuir HS P7 School Transition Youth Club 4-6pm
  • Thursday - Queensferry P7 Club 5.45pm - 8.15pm
  • Friday - Cameron House Community Centre Junior Club 1:45-3:45 P3-P6
  • Friday Open All Hours, Ainslie Park Leisure Centre, 5.45-8.15pm

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
