Job Description
Please note as this post is part time, your salary will be pro rata to hours worked.
We are seeking an individual who values the importance of relationships and is committed to supporting and upholding the rights of care experienced young people. The Throughcare and Aftercare Team provides guidance, advice, and support to care experienced young people who are preparing to leave care, or who have left care up until the age of 26.
We are a small team ready to grow and shape our service further. This is an exciting time to join the service as we reevaluate how we can best support young people into adulthood working alongside our corporate parenting partners and organisations within the third sector. The post holder will have a specific remit to promote and support our care experienced participation group ‘Oor Clacks Voices’ as well as being involved in group work, the Care Experience Hub, and individual work with young people which will involve assessment, planning, support and review for young people receiving aftercare.
