Job Description
The main duties of the postholder will be:
- Receiving, reviewing and processing licensing applications
- Provide assistance to the Senior Paralegal in all aspects of licensing and regulatory matters;
- required to take decisions on procedural matters relation to applications for licenses;
- complaints about licence holders and to give advice on most aspects of law and procedure related to licensing matters with the assistance of Senior Paralegal and Solicitors.
- planning and developing of good working practices, work as part of a team and have the ability to work unsupervised at a reasonably advanced level.
- good legal knowledge of the statutory requirements for licensing and regulatory matters
- Working with the Clerk of both the Licensing Board and Regulatory Committee.
- Attending both Licensing Board and Regulatory Committee as and when required
