Social Worker - Children and Families team – NQSW welcome
Clackmannanshire Council’s Children & Families Social Work Service is committed to achieving positive, meaningful outcomes for children and young people who require care and protection. Our service is actively embedding The Promise, UNCRC, GIRFEC, and the National Child Protection Guidance, alongside the Safe and Together Model, which is being implemented across the Local Authority. Essential
Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW, CSS.

To provide a statutory Social Work Service in accordance with the provisions of relevant legislation and national and local guidelines.
To assume case management responsibilities specific to the Service, carrying out assessment of service users needs and risks, following Service procedures and delivering direct interventions to individuals and small groups as part of a programme of interventions. The role will also involve participating in structured consultation/supervision sessions and representing the Social Work Service in multi-disciplinary forums. This will all be in accordance with Council or hosted stakeholders arrangements, through a Service Level Agreement or Partnership arrangement.

You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment on how to apply. Please note you will be required to pay for the cost of this application if your salary is over £38,000 per annum, which will be deducted from your first pay.
