Council Officer, Council Offices, Sandwick Road (0106) 
37 hours per week, Permanent Position 
£30,758 - £31,935 per annum, inclusive of £2,997 Distant Islands Allowance per Annum

As the Council officer you will provide a Council Officer Service within the Council Offices, Stornoway. You will also attend civic and ceremonial events alongside the Convener. 

You should have awareness of security measures, the ability to communicate on all levels and be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

You should have the ability to  to handle situations where customers may be upset angry or aggressive, and a well organised approach to your work. 

You must have experience of dealing with customers and colleagues , as well as experience of building security. 

The role requires a full driving licence.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
