We are recruiting for an Administrative Officer to join our busy Employability, Skills and Partnership Team, within the Partnership Management Office (PMO).
This post plays a key role in supporting the effective day to day operation of the PMO, ensuring our employability and skills programmes run efficiently and in line with our reporting requirements. You will oversee the administrative functions of the office, providing supervision and guidance to our Programme Support Officers, and ensuring that processes and systems are consistent, accurate and compliant.
Working closely with the Contracts Officer and Programme Management Coordinators, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing administrative procedures, coordinating project documentation, and supporting monitoring and reporting activity. The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to problem solving. You will be confident in managing competing priorities, and liaising with colleagues and external partners to support the smooth delivery of our programmes.
This post is based in Kirkbank, Dumfries.
You will be educated to SCQF Level 6 in a relevant subject and significant experience of working within an office environment is required.
This post is funded until 31 March 2026. This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
