🚀 About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Area Supervisor to lead, inspire, and drive operational excellence across multiple sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering results.

 

🛠 Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across assigned locations
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards
  • Monitor KPIs and implement strategies for continuous improvement
  • Act as the main point of contact between management and frontline staff

  • Proven experience in supervisory or management roles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to travel between sites as required

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.  From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.

This is a Fixed Term post for a period of 12 months to cover a maternity leave.

 

This post may be suitable for secondment.  Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
