Facilities Services (Catering) are looking for a Cook 1 (General Catering Assistant) that can assist the Catering Manager in Kirkcudbright Academy whilst carrying out the general catering tasks associated with the delivery of school meals.  

You will work 10 hours per week (Monday to Friday) over 38 weeks per year.  Working Times will be discussed at interview.
 
You must be an energetic and enthusiastic person that will carry out the following tasks: 
•    Light food preparation  
•    Serve meals 
•    Setting up and decanting of dining room  
•    Setting up service area 
•    Cash handling as and when required  
•    Dishwashing and General kitchen duties 
•    Clearing down and cleaning kitchens and staff rest areas  
•    Carry out electronic paperwork  
 
Experience is not necessary as full training will be given if required.   
You will also be given Basic Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness training.
