Bring Your Passion to Our School Kitchen!
We’re looking for a positive, hands-on General Assistant (Cook 1) to help fuel our pupils with fresh, tasty meals every day. If you enjoy supporting your local community, thrive in a busy and engaging environment, and want a role that makes a real difference to you and the children in our school, we’d love to hear from you. Join us and help create meals that make school days brighter!

Hours Per Week: 10
38 Weeks per year 
2 hours a day Monday – Friday  
12.15 – 14.15pm

You must be an energetic and enthusiastic person that will carry out the following tasks: 

o    Baking / Light food preparation 
o    Serve meals 
o    Setting up and decanting of dining room  
o    Setting up service area 
o    Cash handling as and when required  
o    Dishwashing and General kitchen duties 
o    Clearing down and cleaning kitchens and staff rest areas  
o    Carry out electronic paperwork  
 
Initial training will include Basic Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness. 
Kitchen experience is not necessary as full training will be given if required.
