We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Facilities Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of services across Dumfries and Galloway.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing and developing key frontline services including cleaning (schools and commercial), catering and school meals, caretaking, public conveniences, school crossing patrols, civic hospitality, logistics, central stores, and leisure caravan/campsites.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering Council priorities, driving transformation, and ensuring high-quality, customer-focused services that provide best value for our communities.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead services that have a direct impact on communities across Dumfries and Galloway. You will be part of a forward-thinking leadership team committed to innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
