The area is adjacent to the Scottish Borders and is well served by excellent transport links to the A74(M).  The schools are around 75 miles to the southeast of Glasgow, 80 miles to the south of Edinburgh, 18 miles to the east of Dumfries and 20 miles to the north of Carlisle.

In addition, Hoddom Primary has a Nursery setting which is managed by a Nursery Manager.  An important element of this post is to develop an ethos, culture and values which demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusion and diversity.

Applicants who are seeking to find out more about the schools and their unique context, or arrange a visit, should contact the link Quality Improvement Officer, Andrea Macfarlane by email:  Andrea.Macfarlane@dumgal.gov.uk

A significant relocation package of up to £5000 may be available to the successful candidate (Permanent positions only).  Please see attached guidance for further information.
