£35,535 - £38,031

Join Us as a Keyworker Coordinator – Lead, Inspire and Make a Difference

Are you passionate about helping people into work and driving positive change across Dumfries & Galloway? We’re looking for a Keyworker Coordinator to lead and inspire our team of Employability Keyworkers, working together to support people across the region to achieve positive outcomes.

In this role, you’ll manage and motivate a dedicated team who work directly with individuals to identify their skills, build confidence, and take the next steps towards employment. You’ll also engage with local partners, employers, and stakeholders to ensure we’re delivering the best possible opportunities for the people of Dumfries & Galloway.

Our Employability & Skills service operates region-wide, delivering on our Council’s priorities and contributing to the ambitions of:

  • Dumfries and Galloway’s Local Outcomes Improvement Plan 2017–2027
  • Local Employability and Skills Partnership Delivery Plan 2022–26
  • No One Left Behind
  • Best Start, Bright Futures

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience of employability programme delivery, including budget authorisation, monitoring and reporting on performance.
  • A background in supporting people into work and a good understanding of the local economy.
  • Strong partnership skills – able to build effective relationships with employers, agencies, and community organisations.
  • Awareness of local, regional, and national employability strategies.

You’ll play a key role in delivering externally funded contracts, including Scottish Government’s No One Left Behind funding, and in making sure our service continues to change lives across the region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine leadership, partnership working, and real impact – helping people in our communities to achieve brighter futures.
