Post 1: 27.5 hour per week, 39 weeks per year

Post 2: 10 hour per week, 39 weeks per year
£6,431.12 - £6,828.29
We are seeking to appoint capable and enthusiastic Learning Assistants with the desired personal qualities and skills to join the staff team within the Stranraer Academy Cluster based at Rephad Primary School learning centre. You will be required to support pupils with additional support needs to overcome barriers to their learning and reach their full potential.
These posts are fixed term until 18/08/26. They may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for these posts.
The successful candidates must be educated to SCQF Level 4 (e.g. Standard Grade General, National 4) or equivalent, including Numeracy and Literacy or equivalent and experience of working with children and/or young people. A willingness to undertake training will be required.
Experience of working with children/young people with additional support needs and a visit to Primary Inclusion Hub prior to application would be advantageous. A willingness to undertake training will be required.
