We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Principal Teacher for 35 hours per week within Cargenbridge Primary School. The successful candidate will be required to lead and manage a team of staff to support the delivery of high-quality learning and teaching and to improve outcomes for all pupils.
This post will involve responsibility for a defined area of the school, such as stage, curricular area or Pupil Equity Funding, and contributing to whole school improvement priorities. The postholder will work in partnership with the Headteacher to support the effective leadership and management of the school, including the day-to-day organisation and running of the establishment.
The successful candidate will be expected to promote high standards of professional practice, support and challenge colleagues, and use a range of approaches to monitor and evaluate learning and teaching. They will contribute to raising attainment and achievement and ensure a consistent approach to meeting the needs of all learners.
This position is temporary until August 2027. This position may be suitable for secondment. Line Management approval should be sought before applying for the position.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
