Project Assistant (Fixed Term)
Dumfries
£32,475 - £34,632
We are recruiting for a Project Assistant to join our busy Employability, Skills and Partnership Team, within the Partnership Management Office (PMO).
This post will support the delivery of a range of projects and initiatives across the Employability, Skills and Partnership service. The role will assist with the coordination of project activity, helping ensure that projects are organised effectively and that information relating to delivery and progress is maintained accurately.
Working closely with the Contracts Officer and Data Performance Coordinator, you will support the coordination of project activity. The role will involve working with colleagues across the Council and with external partners to support the smooth delivery and auditing of project activity.
You will also play an important role in gathering and organising information relating to project delivery and wider partnership activity. This will include supporting the collection of data, feedback and insight from partners and stakeholders to help build a clearer understanding of service needs, project outcomes and emerging priorities. This information will contribute to the development of reports, briefings and evidence that support service planning and future commissioning activity across the service.
The role requires excellent organisational and analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage information effectively. You should be confident working with a range of data and information sources to present information clearly to support project development and service planning.
You will be educated to SCQF Level 7 and have experience of working within a project, programme or analytical support role in a busy organisational environment.
This post is funded until 31 March 2027. This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
