Dumfries and Galloway Assessor and Electoral Registration Officer is looking to recruit a Rating & Registration Assistant.

Based at Militia House, Dumfries for 36 hours per week.

The post will initially be office based until a level of training has been completed and then move to a hybrid post. 

The post holder will provide a front-line service dealing with a range of clerical tasks supporting the Assessor and Electoral Registration Officer in maintaining the Council Tax Valuation List, the Valuation Roll and the Register of Electors.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate good time management, have good verbal and written communication skills. You must have the ability to work as part of a busy team. You must also be reliable and be able to work well under pressure and be highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic.
