Are you looking for a new challenge? Look no further – The Ryan Centre, Stranraer features a wide range of Health and Fitness facilities including Profiles Fitness Suite, Ryan’s Den Soft Play Area, SHOKK Junior Gym, Games Hall, Swimming Pool, Health Suite & Theatre.

 

For 36 hours per week, you will undertake a range of reception duties which will include evening and weekend work.

 

You will receive training in the new Leisure Management system and will be required to undertake reception and clerical duties. Dealing with customers daily, you will have excellent communication and telephone skills, while being able to work under pressure. Being the first point of contact for customers, you will be enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable on the Ryan Centre programme and will assist and promote key Leisure and Sport activities and services.

 

Educated to Standard Grade or equivalent in English and Mathematics, you will ideally have good computer skills and knowledge of software applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

 

One year reception or clerical experience is essential. You will have experience in cash handling and dealing with members of the public. Experience of working within the leisure industry and knowledge of memberships, swimming lessons and sales would be an advantage.
