Dumfries and Galloway Council is dedicated to improving the lives of our residents by ensuring that roads, paths, cycling and walking networks in the region are improved. Our Roads Maintenance Service is key in achieving that goal.
The post holder will support the Assistant Director to plan and deliver the Council’s full range of responsibilities in relation to the Roads Maintenance Service to meet statutory objectives, codes of practice, Scottish Government requirements, sector best practice and the Council’s objectives and priorities.
A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
