You will be required to work 15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
Lockerbie Primary is looking to appoint a Senior Clerical Assistant on a Fixed Term basis from August 2025, to cover a secondment period of up to 10 months. Working pattern will include Thursday, Friday and another additional day to be agreed with the preferred candidate.

The Senior Clerical Assistants at Lockerbie Primary play a vital role in the smooth and efficient running of the school, undertaking duties and providing administrative assistance to the Primary Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and resourceful individual to fulfil this exciting role in our school.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Applicants who have been resident outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check, will be required to provide a completed police record check from the police authority in the country or countries in which they were resident.
