Job Description

Senior Clerical Assistant (Statutory Framework)

Dumfries– Hybrid/Negotiable

£14,366.48 - £14,613.35

 

 

This is a 19.75 hour, permanent post within the Statutory Framework Team. The role will provide clerical and administrative support for meetings connected to Looked After Children, Child Protection and Adult Support and Protection processes.

 

You will help organise meetings, prepare and share information, keep records up to date and support communication between Social Work Teams and partner agencies. You will also help ensure paperwork and administrative tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

 

Applicants should be educated to SCQF Level 4, for example National Certificate/Higher, or equivalent. Good IT skills, including MS Office, and some office experience are required. Experience of working with others, handling confidential information, taking notes or minutes, staying organised and working to deadlines would be helpful. The successful candidate should be accurate, polite, adaptable and able to work well as part of a team.

 

A driving licence, flexibility to travel across the region and occasional availability beyond 5pm would be an advantage.
