Job Description
Senior Clerical Assistant (Fixed Term)
Dumfries
Band 3: £13,093,50 - £13,318.50
Duties will cover a range of general clerical and administrative tasks, whilst providing support to a very busy Social Work team, this includes identifying, retrieving and preparing a wide range of electronic and paper records. The postholder will be expected to be a good team player, adaptable and experienced in working to tight deadlines. This postholder will be aware of, and able to maintain, confidentiality.
You must be educated to credit standard grade/SVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a related subject and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy. Good organisational and interpersonal skills, along with moderate office experience and knowledge of computer-based information systems, are essential.
This post is fixed term for up to 12 months.
This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
