We're looking for an experienced HR professional to join our HR Management Team and play a pivotal role in embedding and leading our HR Business Partner model. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll influence strategic decision-making, champion cultural change and deliver innovative people solutions that support an agile, high-performing and inclusive organisation. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead strategic HR initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in workforce performance, employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
  • Become a trusted adviser to senior leaders, influencing decisions that shape services, culture and organisational performance.
  • Working with a designated Directorate Management Team, you'll help shape workforce strategy and support the delivery of key business priorities across the Council.
  • Champion workforce transformation and organisational change programmes that support the Council's future ambitions.
  • Use workforce insights and HR metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively across the HR team to deliver a consistent, high-quality partnering service across the Council.

 

 What We’re Looking For:

Someone who can build trusted relationships, influence senior leaders and drive positive organisational change. You'll bring a strategic mindset, strong business partnering skills and the ability to translate workforce challenges into practical people solutions.

 

You will have a degree in HR, or equivalent relevant qualification, with chartered membership of CIPD and significant experience in a senior HR or HR Business Partnering role.

Requirements

A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
