Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative (15/1679)

£17,208.96 - £18,273.21

 

You will be required to work 21.5 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year.

 

Duties will include:-

 

• Driving of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste & White Goods/Bulky vehicles.
• Ensuring collection of refuse & recycling routes on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures.
• Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functions

                              

                                                                                                      

 

An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Communities.  We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative at our depot in Culhorn, Stranraer.

 

You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member.

 

This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland.

 

You will be educated to Standard Grade Level and have Class C, HGV License, and valid Driver CPC.
