We are looking for a full time, permanent member of staff to be an active member of the Telecoms and Contracts Team to ensure competent and efficient support across a variety of work themes, mainly finance, procurement, contract and supplier management.
Your will provide effective support to the Support Officer and Management Team by assisting in monitoring of finance, related queries and ordering, invoice processing and receiving goods, using RSS, and various Microsoft applications.
You will liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive quotes, check stock availability, track deliveries and resolve supply issues.
You will liaise closely with colleagues in other departments to improve ICT&D Support services to meet corporate requirements. You will assist the SWAN & Financial Co-Ordinator and provide cover, when required. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the ICT&D contract ID and contract register. You will assist in relevant procurements, in line with corporate procurement unit guidance and provide effective support to project related themes.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination and day to day requirements associated with the administration of the council ICT equipment recycling contract.
To qualify for this post, you should have experience in an administrative or finance support role, ideally within ICT, digital services, or local government for 3 years be competent in use of Microsoft packages as well as experience dealing with customer enquiries and issues.
