Trainee HR Business Partner

Dumfries (Hybrid Working)

£32,475 - £34,632

 

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our HR team as a Trainee HR Business Partner. This role provides the perfect opportunity for individuals with an interest in HR, to gain hands-on experience and develop a comprehensive understanding across all HR functions, whilst being supported to gain a professional HR qualification (CIPD level 7 Diploma).

 

What You’ll Do:

As a Trainee HR Business Partner you will work closely with your HR colleagues to support the strategic delivery of HR services and drive a people centric culture across the Council. With appropriate support and guidance you will be involved across the full range of HR activities, metrics and projects. This is a unique opportunity to develop the skills required to become a trusted and credible HR Business Partner.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • As a minimum, an SVQ level 3/SCQF level 6 qualification in a related discipline (or equivalent)
  • Moderate experience in a post with administrative/business experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of HR concepts, processes and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Awareness of current and emerging employment law
  • Commitment to continued personal development and successfully completing the professional HR qualification (CIPD level 7 Diploma)

 

Salary placing is dependent on experience and qualifications.
