£19,865.83 - £20,222.33

You will be required to work 31 hours per week, 52.14 hours per week.

Are you looking for a real challenge?

Look no further – The Ryan Centre in Stranraer features a 25m Swimming Pool with Leisure Water, Health Suite, Gameshall, 30 Station Profiles Plus Suite, SHOKK gym, Dance Studio, Softplay Area, Bar, Cinema and Theatre.

We wish to recruit experienced and enthusiastic individuals to work as part of our team, to assist with and supervise the extensive facilities and provide a high quality of service to our customers. The key is to ensure the smooth operation of the centre by being a lifeguard, maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and hygiene. You will advise and assist users of the centre and exceed their customer service expectations.

You will be friendly, outgoing, and passionate about customer care and all aspects of leisure and sport.  You will be based between dryside and poolside but may be required to work in other areas of the service.  Hours will include evenings, weekend working and bank holidays on a seven-week rota.

Relevant experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage.  You must be in possession of a current RLSS NPLQ.  You must have excellent customer care skills, experience of working with members of the public and be able to work to and meet targets.  Self-motivation, the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team is all essential.
