Moffat Academy is seeking to appoint on a part-time permanent basis, an inspiring and empathetic secondary Principal Teacher of Pupil Support.

 

You will have a key day to day operational role based at Moffat Academy - Secondary. You will have a deep understanding of GIRFEC, placing effective universal and targeted support and holistic wellbeing of all our young people at the heart of your practice.

 

We are looking for outstanding candidates, preferably with experience in leading a number if whole school initiatives including LGBT+ and equalities work, UNCRC Rights Respecting Schools Award accreditation, Mentors in Violence Prevention and the Relationships and Sexual Health Programme.

 

As part of an all through 2 to 18 campus comprising a nursery, primary and secondary school, we work closely as a team to nurture and support our young people, families, and community. Our staff strive to deliver an excellent experience of the highest standards to all learners in our beautiful environment. This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
