Dumfries and Galloway Assessor and Electoral Registration Officer is looking to recruit a Trainee Valuer. You will be based at Militia House, Dumfries for 36 hours per week.
The successful candidate will form part of a team responsible for the survey and valuation of non-domestic property for rating purposes and the survey and valuation of domestic property for Council Tax.
They must be able to demonstrate good time management, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be reliable and able to work well under pressure and be highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic.
The post is offered at 3 levels; accredited degree qualified, part qualified and entry level where the successful candidate will meet the entry requirements of BSc (Hons) Construction & the Built Environment (Graduate Apprenticeship) – Real Estate Surveying at Edinburgh Napier University starting in August 2023.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and qualifications whilst working in professional office.
Salary placing is dependent on experience and qualifications.
