Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city.

Working 37 hours per week, you will be based across a range of sports centres throughout Dundee, providing relief cover within existing Sports Centre staffing structures. This will include cover for annual leave, absences and sickness. You will also assist with the delivery and support of local, regional and national events held within our sports centres.
This post forms part of the Active Dundee section within Leisure and Sport. Your primary base will be The Regional Performance Centre for Sport, with operational duties also carried out at Dundee International Sports Centre (DISC), Douglas Sports Centre, Menzieshill Community Hub, St Paul’s, and Grove & Harris Swim and Sports Centre.

2 National Grade 4 passes or equivalent in Maths & English or Relevant Experience, also HSE 3 day First Aid Qualification, or be willing to undertake training within 6 month apppointment.Responsibilities
Day-to-day responsibility for effectively addressing operational issues, health & safety matters and customer-focused facilities/services/activities, relating to Leisure Attendant roles/duties in all City Sports facilities.
Including RPC, McTaggart Gymnastics Centre, DISC, Menzieshill Community Hub, Douglas Sports Centre and the Community School estate.The Individual
You will have proven experience and knowledge of cash handling and IT systems, along with the ability to maintain accurate records and demonstrate strong personal organisational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, including a strong focus on customer care.
You must be able to work efficiently using your own initiative while remaining calm and effective under pressure.
This role requires flexibility to work evening, weekend and public holiday shifts. You must also be willing to respond positively to the reasonable demands of the service and be capable of working both independently and as part of a wider Leisure Attendant team.
