You will have 3 National 4 Passes or equivalent to include English

Responsibilities

As part of Leisure & Culture Dundee’s Library and Information Service provide an efficient, responsive and courteous service to the users of the Service

The Individual

You will have good communication, organisational and IT skills and a demonstrated enthusiasm and interest in books and libraries. You will have an interest and skill in working with people and the ability to deal with stressful situations. You will demonstrate a flexible approach and be required to participate in events and activities including reading groups, storytelling sessions, Bookbug sessions, holiday activities and IT training sessions. Flexibility: availability to change pattern of working hours or work extra hours as job demands Member of PVG Scheme or willingness to become a member of the PVG Scheme with satisfactory Scheme Record and/or Scheme Record Update.
