Requirements

You will have minimum of 2 National 4s, or equivalent on Scottish Qualification Framework, one of must be English.

Responsibilities

You will assist children to acquire the knowledge, skills and self-confidence to participate in groups and in the community and to contribute to their developments.

The Individual

​You will have experience of working with children and be able to motivate them. You will have good organisational skills, experience of team working and the ability to use creative thinking & imagination when developing /delivering sessions. You must be prepared to undertake training and be available to work late afternoon/ early evenings during term time, daytime during school holidays and weekends as appropriate. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
