You will have a Social Work Degree, Dip SW, CQSW, CSS (with appropriate option), or equivalentResponsibilities
You will co-ordinate the planning, operation and continuous improvement of Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) on behalf of the responsible authorities within their functions under Section 10 and 11 of the Management of Offenders etc (Scotland) Act 2005.
You will bring consistency and focus to the MAPPA process by providing a single point of contact for the responsible authorities and other agencies.
You will manage administrative support staff.The Individual
You will have knowledge relating to people who pose a risk of harm to others, including relevant legislation, risk assessment and risk management. Experience of working with sexual and/or violent offenders in either an enforcement or treatment capacity with experience of working in partnership with statutory and third sector agencies, including the development and implementation of strategic plans and performance frameworks are essential.
You will have excellent communication skills, proven analytical and report writing skills. Proficient in use of IT is also essential.
You will have the ability to work outwith normal office hours.
Satisfactory response from Police Scotland NPPV Level 2 check is required.
