Job Description

Would you like to work in a fast paced environment to provide excellent customer service to the public? Working in a hybrid style, based at home and in Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week. Requirements

You will have 5 National 5’s, or equivalent; or relevant experience of working within a Customer Service Contact Centre Environment. You must be willing and able to obtain SVQ Level 3 in Customer Services or Customer Services Professional Certificate Qualification.

Responsibilities

As part of a team, you will provide an efficient, effective and high level customer service to the public. You will deal with enquiries in relation to a wide range of Council Services through telephone, face to face, email and social media.

Are you - customer focused - able to guide and assist customers through sensitive and challenging situations - comfortable and experienced using computer systems - a team player - self motivated Do you have - a calm disposition and an approachable manner - well developed oral and written communication skills - an awareness of Data Protection - good attention to detail - analytical skills Can you work - with minimum supervision - as part of a team with a flexible approach to meet business needs under pressure and prioritise your workload You will have - social awareness and empathy of the problems faced by all sections of the community A Basic Disclosure Scotland check is required.
