Requirements

You will have HNC/SVQ3 or equivalent in related subject area or relevant work experience in Management Information Systems/Business environment.

Responsibilities

You will provide an efficient and comprehensive data management/processing system for Children and Families Service ensuring the service complies with all relevant legislation and guidance. You will investigate and provide advice and solutions to issues and formal complaints raised by Elected Members, MSPs, parents and other stakeholders relating to Children and Families service.

The Individual

You will have proven experience in public relations, evidence of experience and skills in relation to conflict resolution, customer service experience and working knowledge of packages such as office 365, Microsoft Teams. You will have good communication skills - written and oral, the ability to develop solutions to complex problems and willingness to disseminate information effectively. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work to deadlines, customer liaison skills and the ability to work on own initiative is also essential. You will be willing to undertake CPD. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
