Working in a hybrid style, based at home and the office for Adoption, Fostering, Permanence and Kinship Team, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

You will have a Social Work Degree, CQSW, Dip SW, CSS (with appropriate option).Responsibilities
You will develop an appropriate range of Family Placement Resources to meet the needs of children and young people in care.The Individual
You must have experience of child care work and knowledge of fostering and adoption legislation.
An understanding of the issues for Care Experienced children and Young People and ability to work as part of a team and in partnership with other disciplines and external providers is also essential. You will be able to communicate well in group setting and to provide good written material.
You must be willing to work flexible hours.
You will have the ability to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council within a specified time.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
