Job Description
Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee Community Justice Service office at Friarfield House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.
This role will be based in the Public Protection Team which is responsible for the assessment and supervision of men convicted of violent, sexual and domestically abusive behaviour. If not already trained, you will be required to undertake and complete all relevant associated training for both the risk assessments and programmes for addressing sexual and domestically abusive behaviour.
You will have minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience of working in a Justice setting, with collaborative work with other agencies.
You will be trained to undertake LSCMI, SA07 and Risk Matrix 2000 risk assessment tools.

​You will have a Degree in Social Work, CQSW, Dip Social Work, CSS.Responsibilities
You will provide an effective high quality service to individuals and their families. Use professional social work skills to assess risk and need and provide supervisory, preventative and rehabilitative approaches to reducing reoffending, including the delivery of group work programmes. Undertake a range of statutory duties for which the Social Work Department is responsible. To represent the service in a range of settings including Court.The Individual
You will have experience of working adults/children and families with collaborative work with other agencies.
You will be able to communicate effectively with individuals and their families, to undertake assessments of risk and need, to work to fixed timescales with the ability to relate positively with colleagues across agencies along with the ability to work creatively.
You will have the availability to work beyond normal hours when needs of the service and service users require this.
The ability to register with the Scottish Social Services Council within a specified timeframe.
