Job Purpose

To carry out investigations into complaints of anti-social behaviour in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Requirements

The duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Any information that is disclosed on a basic disclosure will require to be discussed before a formal offer of employment is made.

Responsibilities

This is a full time temporary post until 31st May 2025 and the admin base is Opera House, Kilmarnock.


The hours of work are 35 per week working;

Week 1 - Monday to Wednesday 9.00am to 5.00pm, Thursday 12.00 to 8,00pm, Friday 12.00pm to 7.00pm.

Week 2 - Monday to Wednesday 12.00pm to 8.00pm, Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm.



The workstyle for this post is - Mobile’ - 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 1 to 2.5 days per week and the remainder of the week at home or other work locations as required.

It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations

There will be a requirement to work throughout the whole of East Ayrshire.

The salary for these posts is £28,956 - £31,067
