Job Description

To maintain and support the management and coordination of staff, to provide and adapt packages of care for vulnerable adults. Planning, coordinating and implementation of new care packages as commissioned via the Area Lead Officers. To promote and support a coordinated approach to enablement performance in relation to delayed discharges. In order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Health & Social Care Partnership Plan and the Community Plan.

 

Requirements

The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants for such posts will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with either or both of these groups as appropriate, or if they are already a Scheme member, be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update, before any formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Council.

Responsibilities

The Individual

This is a temporary full time post based within the Johnnie Walker Bond.

Hours of work will be 35 per week to be worked on a shift pattern of 1 week day shift, 1 week back shift - working every 3rd weekend.
 
Annual salary - £32,469 - £34,762 plus 12.5% shift allowance.
 
The workstyle for this post is fixed.
