Job Description
In order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Governance Plan and the Community Plan – Provision of administrative and support services to Council, Cabinet and Committees, Panels and related meetings. Supporting Senior Officers in the provision and development of services in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.
Requirements

The Individual
This is a temporary full time post to cover a period of Maternity Leave with an administration base at Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock.
The hours of work are 35 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm & Friday 9am - 4pm.
The full time salary of this post is between £40,495 - £44,117 per annum.
This is a temporary post up until 18th April 2026.

The workstyle for this post is ‘Mobile’ - 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location. It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
