Job Description
To undertake training as an Apprentice Joiner and to assist in all Joinery repairs and all refurbishment work to Council properties; to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

This post is temporary for 4 years to allow the successful candidate to complete their apprenticeship.
Start date is August 2026.
The rate of pay for these posts is £13.45 per hour, moving onto a percentage of the relevant grade in year 4.
As part of the recruitment and selection procedure, if your application reaches the next stage you will be required to attend for a skills test and a formal interview.
