Job Purpose

Lead and manage a Housing Maintenance/Improvement/Void Team in the delivery of capital improvement and/or maintenance projects from inception to completion whilst ensuring an excellent standard of customer service, in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Council’s statutory obligations, the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Transformation Strategy, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Responsibilities

This is a permanent full time post and the admin base for the post is Burnside Street, Kilmarnock.

The hours of work are 37 per week working:

Monday - Thursday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and Friday 8.00 am to 3.30 pm with 30 min lunch break each day.

The annual salary for the post is £37,191 - £40,808

The workstyle for this post is Mobile - 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 1 to 2.5 days per week and the remainder of the week at home or other work locations as required.

It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.”
