Job Purpose

To manage the delivery of a Housing Service based IT function, leading the team, ensuring that IT systems, applications and services are functioning effectively, coordinating customer focussed support services along with ongoing systems development and implementation. The post holder will assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Digital Strategy and the Council’s key objectives in the Community Plan.

Additional Information

This is a permanent full time post, working 35 hours per week. The admin base is Holmquarry House, Kilmarnock. The working pattern is Monday - Thursday 9am -5pm & Friday 9am - 4pm. The full time annual salary for the post is £47,848 - £52,325. The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ - 50% -79% of your time in an office location/ multiple work locations. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 2.5 to 4 days per week and only occasionally from home. It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
