Vacancy Information
The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £14.09 - £15.14
Temporary until 31st March 2025.
This is a 52-week non-sessional post i.e., it will include working during the school holidays.
Days and hours of work:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday, workings times to be discussed at interview (approx. 1.5-2hrs per day)

Yester Primary School is a small school with 7 classes and a nursery currently with 23 children. We are looking for a caring and patient ASN to join our small nursery team. The successful candidate will be working in our Nursery. Please note that the nursery is a 48 week setting providing childcare from 8.15-4.15 Monday to Friday and there is an expectation that you would be working during some school holidays.
There may be some flexibility with hours which will be discussed at interview.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
Good standard of general education.
Experience of working with or caring for children with additional support needs.
Nursery Only:
SSSC registration is an essential requirement of this role. If you are appointed and are not already a member of the relevant section of the SSSC Register, you will be required to apply for registration within 3 months of your start date to ensure that you are registered within the required 6 months
PVG Membership
This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
