Whitecraig Primary School is a small friendly, non-denominational school located in the heart of Whitecraig village, just outside of Musselburgh. The school currently serves both the village of Whitecraig and surrounding areas. The village is currently under development and the school role is expected to double in size over the next few years, prompting the build of a new school and community hub for our pupils and the wider community. We have a current roll of 121 pupils made up of 5 classes which will increase to 6 from August 2023, some of which are composite, and a 48 week nursery, which currently holds up to 32 pupils. We have a support for learning room, nurture base, a large hall, GP room and a fantastic amount of outdoor space for our learners to use. We are looking for an energetic and committed individual to join our close knit team, to help maintain a high level of support to our pupils, staff and families.
