An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Community Planning Officer to support the Children's Strategic Partnership deliver the East Lothian Children and Young People's Service Plan.

This will be a temporary appointment for 22 months to provide cover for the substantive post holder who has been seconded to another post in east Lothian Council.

You will be a strategic thinker who enjoys working in partnership to deliver services that will improve the life chances of children and young people.

To take the lead role in the administration of the Children’s Strategic Partnership (CSP) and supporting working groups and support the CSP to implement, review, evaluate and update the East Lothian Children and Young People Services Plan

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Degree level qualification or similar qualification in a Social Science or Arts and Humanities subject and/ or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.

Driving Licence 
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.
