Hourly rate of pay: £18.70 - £20.91
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, working times are negotiable.
Flexi time is applicable, and starting and finishing times are flexible.

An exciting new opportunity has opened up for a customer-focused individual to manage mid-market rental properties on behalf of East Lothian Mid Market Homes LLP, an arms length partnership of East Lothian Council. Operating across East Lothian, you will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, ensuring excellent customer service and high levels of customer satisfaction. You will be delivering a responsive and effective housing management service to all ELMMH customers, across a range of administrative functions from processing new applications, ensuring effective void turnaround, ensuring rent is paid on time, coordinating repairs and identifying defects as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures. You should be a strong team player, self-motivated, passionate about excellent customer service and have good organisational, communication and people skills and a good knowledge of the relevant legal and policy framework which applies to private tenancies. Whilst this post is part-time, we are ideally looking for someone who can work every day.
Home / Hybrid Working Consideration

To effectively deliver a responsive and effective Housing Management service in relation to East Lothian's Mid-Market Rent Homes.
This post will be key in delivering direct customer facing services with a range of administration functions. This person will be the first point of contact for the applicants applying for the Mid-Market properties and is therefore key in assuring excellent customer service and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
Must be educated to HNC Level or equivalent in a housing related subject and/or hold the CHI Level 3 Certificate in Letting and Managing Residential Property (or equivalent).
Driving Licence
As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.*

Level 1 Disclosure Clearance
This role requires Level 1 Disclosure Clearance to allow access to the Public Sector Network. ELC will submit a Police Act Disclosure application on behalf of the preferred candidate and receipt of the subsequent certificate will be required prior to commencement.
