Musselburgh Grammar School is a vibrant and ambitious secondary, serving the town of Musselburgh and the nearby village of Whitecraig. The Musselburgh community is strong and lively and the Grammar sits proudly at the heart of it.  Musselburgh is the largest town in East Lothian, has easy access to the City Bypass and is only 5 miles east of Edinburgh city centre with excellent bus and train links.

We have approximately 950 pupils and over 100 staff in total. Our school motto is ‘Striving for Excellence – Caring for All' and we are ambitious for all of our young people.

Our pupil-centred approach and ambition for young people is also reflected in our school values of Honesty, Determination and Respect. Continuing to improve attainment and achievement  is our key objective, along with ensuring that our youngsters develop all the skills required for a positive and successful life after school, and we continue to record excellent exam results year on year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, efficient, and friendly individual to join our team in the school office. Our school office is the first port of call for most parents and often for students too. We're looking for someone with proven experience of excellent customer service and an eye for detail, preferably within a school environment - ideally, with experience in using Seemis/Groupcall. If you share our high expectations for young people, and are ready to take the next step in your career to be a key part of driving our school forward, we warmly welcome your application.

We are looking for someone to work 14hours, starting early in the morning, but we can be flexible about the exact start and finish times.

Please direct any enquiries to Lynn Donohoe, Business Manager.
